In order to permit'rotary movement to be transmittedr from one tumbler to another, there has been provided pins 21 wliichvwill be brought into contact to impart rotaryV movement as will be hereprovided witha plurality of pin'receiving openings 22 so that by transferrlngthe pins to different openings, the combination may beehanged.

Vhen setting.V the combination, the setting block will rst be turned vtoward theright in Fig. 1 a number of times and as it turnsv the pin 21 of the tumbler 10 will iirstfengage the co-operating pinV of theV tumbler 1'1A thus turning the tumbler 11 withVV it and eventually bringing the second pin 21 of this tumbler 11 into engagementwith the pin of the tumbler 12.*` The three tumblers will thus all beV turned together toward the right and `rotation will be continued until the tumbler 12 has been turned to a position te position thereduced portion of its key-'hole passage 15 in registry withthe slot 19jof the bearing sleeve 17.
