Be it known that I, WIL'LIAAI MILLER, of Boston, in the county of Suiolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented certain Improvements in CarpetSweepers, of which the following is a specification: y

To this end it consists in the combnatio and arrangement of parts as I will now proceed to describe.

By the above description, reference being had to the drawings, it will be seen that by.

Having thus fully described my improvements, what I claim as my invention, and desire to have .secured to me by Letters Patent, 1sf l. The screw-rods h, provided with thumbfscrews 7s 7i", and held in bearings ii', in combination with the axle e of the brush Insubstantially as described, for the purpose specied.
