.My invention :relates to checlfprotectors, and aims to provide .certain new and useful improvements in connection with a device of this character, and more particularly over` the structure presented in my copending application. j

lliiore particularly my present invention aims to provide a device of the character stated which Amay either be carried in the users pocket or :l'orm a part of a writing implement, it this is desired, so that the same will be universally adaptable.

Further it is an object or" this invention to provide a check protector which shall be Aextremely simple in construction and positive in operation, and which also may bo used by the' operator in a prefectly normal manner. j
