Be it lrnowvn that l, Farra Fam, citizen of the Republic of Switzerland, residing at Berne, Switzerland, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in an Electrio Heating Device for llunging, of which the following is a specication.
The object of this invention is the provision ot an electric heating device capable of being plunged in the substance to be cooked. The heating device is provided with a heating nnit in orm'oic a short tube between the Walls of *which resistance Wire is located to protect the resistance vvire prevent contact oi the latter with the liquid or other substance into Vwhich the heating; device is plunged.

The disposition oi' the tubes in the interior of the heating cylinder is particularly advantageous, as Well with regard to the durability and rigidity of the device as regarding 'the facility of construction. l. ln an electric heating device, a double Walled body member, and an electrical resistance element coiled between the Walls of the body member and having the convolutions thereof arranged substantially concentric with the anis of the body member.

In an electric heating device, a double Walled body member, an electrical resistance element arranged between the Walls oi" the body member, electrical conductors connected with said resistance element, independent tubes receivingthe several conductors and having` divergent extremities con nected with the body member at remote points, and an insulating` handle member carried by the extremities ot the tubes opposite said body member.
