T 0 all whom t may concern Be it known that l. JAMES A.MULHER1N, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of St. Louis, in the State of Missouri, have invented certain new and useful lmprovements in Bath Brushes and Sprayers, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to bath brushes and more particularly to bath brushes having means for discharging a spray of water.
An important object of this invention is to provide a bath brush having novel means whereby a secure connection is provided between the head of the brush and the handle of the same.
A further object is to provide a brush having a head-supporting frame which may be readily renewed when desired.

The head 3 which is preferablyrof rubber and in this case is'reetangular has its sides provided with a groove l0 detachably receiving the sides and ends of the frame. l whereby the head 3 is detachably connected to the frame. v n f As illustrated in Fig. l a flexible water conveying tube 5 is passed through the handle 4 and is connected to the rear end of the head 3 by any suitable means. t will be noted that the forward portion of the tube 5 which extends in advance of the handle is arranged between the spaced attaching arms 2 and is thereby protected and is prevented from bending' under the weight of the head 3.
ri'he water discharged into the hollow head 3 from the tube is passed out through a series of apertures 7 in the under side of the head, the said head also being provided with a plurality of rubber teeth or bristles 8.
ln carrying out the invention the tubular handle 4 is preferably of rubber and has its rear ends rounded as at 9 so that the brush will not be possessed of objectionable prolVections.
in operation the attaching arms 2 rigidly connect the .lead to the handle and also serve as protecting means for the forward portion of the tube vWhen it is desired to replace the frame l the attaching arms 2 may be removed from the sockets ll and the Vframe disengaged from the head.
