Having thus fully described my invention,
what. I claim as new and desire to secure by- Letters Patent, is
1. In an autographie register, the combination with paper strip feeding devices and a casing with a lid in two sections, one section having a tear-off edge. and the other section having a paper guide bar having one edge located in such proximity to the feeding device that the paper strips enter upon the bar and having its upper surface sharply inclined to lift the paper toward the tear-off edge.
2. In an autographic register, the combination with paper strip feeding devices, and a casing having a tear-0ff edge above the same, of a detachable top plate with a paper guide bar having one edge and its adjacent upper surface near to and about on a level with the feeding devices as they move past the bar. and having its upper surface sharply inclined to lift the paper toward the tearolf edge.
3. In an autographic register, a casing having a top plate in a plurality of sections, one section of the top plate having a paper guide bar secured thereto. one edge of the bar being thin to lower the adjacent part of the top surface, and the other edge of the bar thick to elevate that part of the top surface, so that the top surface as a whole in elines sharply from one edge to the other.
4. In an autographie register, the combination with a lid having lock hooks and a section of the top plate adapted to be posi tioned oversaid hooks and having a paper guide bar mounted thereon and occupying a position within the portions of the plate which engage the hooks. said bar having one edge low and the other edge high, the upper surface extending from the low edge to the high edge and constituting a sharp incline.
