2. In a train signal, electric lamps, resistance coils, electromagnets, and conductors in electric connection With said lamps and with the coils of said magnets to form a.
plurality of electric circuits ,in which said lamps and resistance coils are in multiple and said magnets are in multiple, armatures' to said magnets, a movable circuit closer arranged to break said circuits and in selective order to close said circuits, and means, common to said circuits to energize the closed one thereof, means to obstruct a view of said lamps, and means comprisingsaid magnets and armatures to remove said obstruction.
3. In a train signal, the combination of,
an electric signal, yielding means to obstruct l the view of said signal and means to remove and maintain said obstruction removed, said e means to remove and maintain comprisin i electromagnets and the armatures thereo an electric circuit comprising conductors and a circuit breaker controlled by said means to remove and maintain, and a second electric circuit comprising conductors and said signal, said circuits also comprissaid circuits. y

In a `train signal, electric lamps, means to obstruct a view of said lamps, means to yieldingly hold said means to obstruct in` obstructing position, electromagnets and armatures thereto arranged to control the position of said means to obstruct, electrical conductors electrically connected to said .lamps aiid'to the coils of said magnets and adapted to form elements of electric circuits, in combination Withadditional coning, as common thereto, said magnets, a movable circuit closer'and means to energize ductors, 'a circuit breaker arranged to make said additional conductors continuous and to break the continuity thereof, on said means toobstruct being inv obstructing position and moved therefrom, saidV additional conductors and circuit breaker adapted to form elements of additional circuits of which said coilsare also elements, and said last named circuits arranged to shunt said lamps, additional means to control the con- Y tinuity of the conductors in said circuits,
and means to energize closed ones of said circuits.
