Be'liit known that I, PETER KRAUSHAAR, a. citizen of the United States, residing at Montebello, in the county of Los Angeles and State of California, have invented new end Vnsehil Improvements in Phonograph Table-Cebinets. of which the following is a specification.

This. invention relates to a phonograph cabinet, and pertains particularly to a cabinet which when closed has the appearance of n table. Y

The primary object of this invention is to provide a cabinet having the appearance of a table and so constructed that the phonograph and its horn are bombed beneath the table top. lt is another object of this invention to provide a cabinet of the class lescribed `.vith :i phonograph und horn mounted to be drown out and opened up in the manner ot' nn ordinal-5Y table drawer.

ln addition to the broader features of this invention7 there nre certain details oi struc ture, Wherebv :t strong, durable, and simple cabinet of the. form and appearance of a table may be obtained without detracting from the ornamental appearance ot the table.

Referring more particularly to Fig. 1, the cabinet is shown as a table havin the a, ron with a. loinglr side thereof divide into t ree panels. The opposite side of the table has` the some general appearance. The middle panel forms the outer wall of a sliding drawer iontaining the phonograph. The particular construction of the phonom graph which is indicated generally by 26 forms no part of my invention, and the phonograph is merely shown conventionaily. A tone arm 27 is suitably connected into the Wall 15 and communicates with the section 28 of the telescopic horn. Section 28 is fixed to the Wall 15 and slides with the drawer. lt is nested within a section 29. which is Fixed to the apron 8. The mouth of the horn covers the middle panel of the front apron. The panel pro er consists of a sliding wall 30, which may e moved from in front of the horn opening leaving only the afzettingv 31. The wall 3() comprises s. muiler for the phonograph. The manipulation of the table, when the phonograph is to be played is as follows: he phonograph drawer is pulled outwardly moving the phonograph so that it vis accessibie.- The horn section 28 moves with the drawer, the large end registering with the small end of section 29, thereby 'providing a complete horn.
