IMPROVEMENT IN -GRAIN-CARS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 134,181, dated December 24, 1872.
To all whom 'it may concern:
Be it known that I, STEPHEN W. WOOD, of Cornwall, in the county of Orangev and State of New York, have invented a new and useful Convertible Gfrain and Freight Gar; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing making part of this specification- Figure l being a longitudinal vertical section ofthe body of a car constructed with my improvement; Fig. 4, a transverse vertical section of the car-body, shown in Fig. l.

The nature of my invention consists in a car provided with a movable or removable floor, combined with a hopper or hoppers beneath the bottom of the car, substantially as herein set forth.
