The invention relates to lsound boxes.

r1`he objeet ol the present` invention is to provide. an improved connection between the needle. support and the sound box. This application is a division ol' Serial No. lflfhtlll. tiled Nov, :2. 1917.

The invention consists in the several novel features hereinafter set t'orth and more par-v ticularly defined by elainis at the eonelusion hereof.

praetiee. the arm 1U is usually fixed to the diaphragm at the factory, so that in event replacement of a diaphragm is necessary, the needle support must be removed with it. 'These springclips permit ready removal and replacement of the diaphragm and its arm. To release the support, it is only necessary to spring the arms 30 downwardlysuh fieientlv to withdraw the terminals hfrom the seats B2 and then swing the clips laterally to elear the support or withdraw the elipnienibers 28 from their sockets.

ln prat-tire. it has been found that this eonneetion results in el'tieient eonduetion of the vibrations to the diaphragm.

1.
