l Vith the above and other objects in view, the invention consists in the construction, combination and arrangemcntof parts, as herein described, illustrated and claimed.
In the accompanying drawing Figure 1 is a fragmentary plan View of the improved composition lath.
Fig. 2 is a fragmentary cross through the same.
Fig. 3 is a section similar to Fig. 2 showa modification in the structure of the lath.
The improved lath has, as the essential features thereof, a backing sheet 1, a face sheet 2, an interposed fillingor body 3 of plastic material, and a plurality of key ways section or slots 4, as shown in the drawings. The
sheets 1 and. 2 may be of any suitable flexible material, such as paste-{board or card board and the filling or interposed body 3 may be composed of plaster of Paris, or some cement composition, such as will adhere ;firmly to the sheets 1 and 2 and serve to cement the same together. Thethickuess of the filling 2 is such as to provide a complete lath of the necessary thickness, the thickness of the lath being governed by the nature of the structural work in connection with which the lath is used.
. In Fig. 2, the sheets 1 and 2 are shown as flat and parallel to each other. In Fig. 3, a

It will, of course, be understood that the laths may be manufactured in any desired size as to length and width and they may also be of any desired thickness.

1. A composition lath comprising a face sheet, backing sheet, and an interposed body of plaster, one of said sheets being cor-' rugated and the corrugations being inter,- nally filled with said body of plaster.
2.;A composition lath comprising a face sheet, a backing sheet, and an interposed body of plaster, one of said sheets being corrugated and the corrugations iheing in ternally filled with said body of plaster, the lath as a whole being formed with key-receiving openings elongated in the direction of length of said corrugations.
