To all whom it may concern;
Be it known that I, OLIVER Prnnon GREEN- STREET, a citizen of the United States, residing at Baxter Springs, in the county of Cherokee and State of Kansas, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Lunch-Buckets, of which the following is aspecification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings.
This invention relates to certain improvements in lunch buckets, and it is an object of the invention to provide a device'of this general character including novel and'improved means whereby the interior of the bucket may be effectively and thoroughly ventilated in order to maintain the same in a sanitary condition.
Another object of vide a novel and improved device of this general character including a main body or container and in which are adapted to be positioned trays or the like and wherein the body or container is provided at its lower portion with an air ingress opening and at its upper portion with an air egress opening, the trays or the like being positioned intermediate said openings and serving as baflies whereby the air draft or current passing through the body or container travels in a tortuous path so that an effective ventilation is assured of the entire interior of the body or container. The invention consits in the details of construction and in the combination and arrangement of the several-parts of my improved lunch bucket whereby certain important advantages are attained and the device rendered simpler, less expensive and otherwise more convenient and advan ageous for use, as will be hereinafter more fully set forth.
The novel features of my invention will hereinafter be definitely claimed.
In order that my invention may be the better understood, 1 will now proceed to describe the same with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein:

As disclosed in the accompanying drawings, B denotes the body of my improvedbucket which may be of any desired configuration. In Fig. 2 of the accompanying drawings, said body is shown as substantially oblong in top plan, but it is to be understood,
however, that the same may be of anyother design desired, such as oval or the hire.
The upper face of the body B is open and is adapted to be closed by the hollow member M of a. conventional type and which is adapted to contain asupply of coffee or other beverage or liquid, and said member ld has detachably engaged therewith in a well known manner the cup C. The upper end portion of the body B also has operatively engaged therewith a handle member.

Supported within the body B and in ver-' tical spaced relation are the trays T which are adapted to contain different articles of food or the like, and each of the trays T is' of a length less than the length of the. in-
terior or the body B so that said trays T, when arranged within the'b'ody B, may be disposed in staggered relation so that the air currents or draft admitted Within the lower portion of the body B will travel around said trays T in a tortuous path so that the entire interior of the body B will be effectively ventilated and thereby maintained in a highly'sanitary condition.
One end wall 101 tie body B is provided in close proximity to the bottom 2 with a plurality of transversely disposed and alined air ingress openings 3 and which openings are positioned below the lower tray T when said tray is in applied position. The entrance oi air within the body B through the openings 3 is under control of an outstanding pin 5 extending through a slot 6 formed in the end wall 1.
The opposite end wall. 1 of the body B at a point above the upper tray T, when in applied position, is provided with the egress openings 3 under control of the slid ing valve or plate l and which plate is adapted to be operated through the medium of the outstanding pin 5, as has just been referred to relative to the sliding valve or plate d.
Each of the trays T, when applied within the body 13, extends entirely across the in terior of the body B so that the same serves as abali'le and the upper margins of the tray are defined by the outstanding flanges 'i' and an end flange thereof extends within a channel 8 suitably positioned in the adjacent end wall 1 or 1 Each of the end walls 1 or 1 at the desired distance below the channel 8 formed therein is provided at its opposite sides with the inwardly directed pins 9 upon which an end portion or a tray T rests and the opposite end portion of the tray rests upon a shoulder 10 formed at the lower portion of a pair of inwardly directed lugs 11 carried by the end walls 1 and 1 The lugs 11 inwardly of the shoulders 10 are provided with the upwardly and outwardly inclined walls 12, so that the positioning of the trays T within the body B is Liardated.
Each of the plates 3 and 3 is suitably supported for sliding movement by the guideways 1d suitably secured to the inner faces of the end walls 1 and l From the foregoing description, it is thought to be obvious that a lunch bucket constructed in accordance with my invention is particularly well adapted for use by reason of the convenience and facility with which it may be assembled and opera-t d, and it will also be obvious that my invention is susceptible of some ol'iange and modification without departing from the principles and spirit thereof and for this reason I do not wish to be understood as limiting myself to the precise arrangement and formation of the several parts herein shown in carrying out my invention in practice except as hereinafter claimed.

1. A lunch bucket comprising a body, inwardly directed members carried by the opposite walls of the body, certain of said members constitutin lugs having their inner extremities provided with shoulders, each of said lugs inwardly of the shoulder being provided with an upwardly and outwardly inclined wall, and trays arranged within the body in vertically spaced relation and supported by the inwardly directed members,
an end portion of each of the trays resting,
upon the shoulders of certain of the memhere.
2. A lunch bucket comprising a body, in wardiy directed pins carried by the wall of the body, irwardly directed lugs carried by the opposed wall of the body, the inner end portions oi the lugs being provided with a shoulder, each of said. lugs inwardly of the shoulder having an upwardly and outwardly iclined wall, and a tray insertible within the body and of a length to rest upon the pins and the shoulders of the lugs.
3. A lunch bucket comprising a 'body,rinwardly directed pins carried by the wall of the body, inwardly directed lugs carried by the opposec wall of 7 portions the lugs being provided with a shoulder, each of said lugs inwardly of the shoulder having an upwardly and outwardly inclined wall, and a tray insertible within the body and of a length to rest upon the pins and the shoulders of the lugs, the wall of the body provided with the pins having a channel therein above the pins, the tray having a flange fitting within said channel when the tray is resting upon the pins and the shoulders of the lugs.
