My improved Wrapping machine comprises a pair of bed members 2 and3, the bed member 3 being secured upon the standards 4 by means of the bolts 5. After leaving the flap folders the 7 flaps are retained in their folded relation or held against the ends of the article by the plates 31 until they are engaged by the side plates 32 of the sealing machine.
My improved sealing machine isvery simple and economical in structure and at the same time enables the rapid and satisfactory wrapping of articles such as loaves of bread.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim asnew and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is: I
1. In a wrapping machine, the combination of a way, a rock shaft disposed trans-l versely below the way, an actuating spring for said roclrshaft, a catch for retaining e saidrock shaft in its initial position provided with a trip progecting into the path of an article pushed along the way, a pair of rear flap folders on said roclr shaft which swings forwardly when said trip is released and folds the rear flaps forwardly, a return le erefor said rocl: shaft, posts dis- 1 posed at'thes ides of the way, yielding forwardly inwardly projecting front flap folders mounted on said posts and provided folded rearwardly as the article is pushed resales rearwardly inclined bo tom flap folders disposed at the sides of the way engaging the bottom flaps and folding them upwardly as the article is pushed along the way, and a pair. of forwardly inclined top flap folders disposed at the sides of theway overhanging said bottom flap folders engaging the top flaps and folding them downwardly as the article is pushed along the way.
2. In a wrapping machine, the combination of a Way, a rock shaft disposed trans. versely below the way, anactuating spring for said rock shaft, a catch for retainiiig said rock shaft in its initial position proyided with a trip projecting into the path of an article pushed along the way, a pair of rear flap folders on said rock shaft which swings forwardly when said trip is released and folds the rear flaps forwardly, a return lever for said rocl: shaft, yielding front flap folders mounted so that the front flapsare along the way, a pair of rearwardly inclined bottom i'iap folders disposed at the sides of the way engaging the bottom flaps and folding them upwardly as the article is pushed along the way, and a pair of forwardly inclined top flap folders disposed at the sides of the way overhanging said'bottom flap folders engaging the top flaps and-folding them downwardly as the article is pushed along the way. l. in a wrapping machine, the combination of a, way, a reel: shaft disposed transyersely below the way, an actuating spring for said rock shaft, acatch for retaining said rock' shaft in its initial position pro yided with a trip projecting ihto the path of an article pushed along the way, a pair of 1st rear flap folders on said rock shaft which swings forwardly when said trip isreleased and folds the rear flaps forwardly, a return lever for said rock shaft, posts disposed at the sides of the way, yielding forwardly and inwardly projecting front flap folders mounted on said posts and provided with springs urging them inwardly so that the front flaps are folded rearwardly as the article is pushed along the Way, and top and bottom flap folders disposed at the sides of said way to fold the flaps as the article is pushed along the way.
5. In a wrapping machine, the combination of a way, a rock shaft disposed-transversely below the way, an actuating spring for said rock shaft, a catch for retaining said rock shaft in its initial position provided with a trip projecting into the path' of an article pushed along the Way, a pair of rear flap folders on said rock shaft which swings forwardly when said trip is released and folds the rear flaps forwardly, front flap folders mounted so that the front flaps are folded rearwardly as the article is pushed along the way, and top and bottom flap folders disposed at the sides of said way to fold the flaps as the article is pushed along the way.
6. In a wrappi machine, the combination of a pair of ase members, a pair of bed members one of which is secured to said base members and the other of which is adjustably supported thereon, guide rods carried by said bed member secured on said base members and slidablyassociated with the other bed member, for said adjustable bed member, a pair of way bars mounted on said bed members, a rock shaft disposed below said bed members, means for actuating said rock shaft comprising a trip disposed to be engaged by an article pushed along on said ways, a pair of rear flapfolders on said rock shaft one of which is adjustable thereon, and front, top and bottom flap folders mounted on said bed members.
