To all whom t may concern:
Be it known that I, JOY s. Emisoras, 'citi'- zen of the United States, residing at Seattle,-
in the countyl of King and State of Washington, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Gas-Burners, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to improvements in gas burners, and the object of my invention 1s to provide a portable gas burner which shall be so constructed that it shall be adapted to conduct and deliver to a focal polnt line 6, 6 of Figs.
of combustion a plurality of jets of a combustible mixture of gases and a singlejet .of oxygen, or steam, or air, at which point of combustion said combustible mixture of gases and said oxygen or said steam or said air will be intermingled and there to be ignited to produce a flame of extremely high temperature, and which ame, by a manipulation of the burner, may be directed to 1mpinge upon the surfaces to be heated. Extending in a sidewise direction from one side of the portion Lfis an integral externally screw-threaded nipplev 17 through which is a passageway 18 that connects with the rearward'end portion of the passageway 15.
Connected by a union 19 to the nipple 17 is a conduit pipe 20 that may be extended to -a source of oxygen gas or other suitable gas under pressure.

Connected to the nipple 28 by a union 30 is a conduit pipe 31 that may be extended to connect with a source of combustible gas, as acetylene gas or hydrogen gas under pressure.
