In a sewing machine, the combination with stitch-forming mechanism and fabricfeeding mechanism, of a rotatable clamping means located at Vone side of such stitchforming mechanism for holding a circular section of fabric disposed with its edge in position to be engaged by said Stitch-forming mechanism; said fabric being moved with said rotatable holding means by the engagement of'said fabric-feedin mechanism With ormation of the stitches.
