Extending outwardly from the tub T adjacent the discharge opening O is the rinsing box -R adapted to contain -hot water. Supported by the upper portion of the box R; and immediately adjacent the discharge opening O is 'an endless apron A which is adapted to dischargeupon lthe basket B supported by the=upper longitudinal margins of the outer portion of the box. The apron A is dispps'ed around the rollers 1 and one of said rollers has its shaft 2 'extended beyond a side of the box R. In a Washing apparatus, a tub, a plurality of carrying means supported for rotary movement and adapted to travel through the tub, means for intermittently rota-ting said `carrying means, a brushing' means coacting with each of the carrying means, said brushing means being supported for rotary movement and traveling with the carrying means,each of said carrying means comprising two relatively movable members', and means for holding said relatively movable members against independent movement.
