IMPROVEMENT iN PHOTOGRAPHIC CAMERA-BOXES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 124,674, dated March 19, 1872.
` MATnrAs FLAMMANG, of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented certainlmprovements in Camera-Boxes; of which the following is a specification:
My invention consists of the mechanism by means of which the carriage or plate-holderis operated. The first part relates to the construction ot' the back part of a camerafbox, in combination with the carriage or plate-holder in such a manner that the said carriage or plate-holder shall work with perfect ease and freedom, and also retain its position of close and intim ate connection therewith, preventing any admission of light notwithstanding the usual wear. The second part relates to the combination, with a camera-box and carriage or holder, of the spring-catch, by means of which the distance of movement is regulated and the exact point determined at which it is necessary for the carriage or plate holder to stop to enable a photographic operator to take the number of pictures desired on a single plate.

I claim as my invention-n The combination, with a camera-box and carriage or plate holder, of rollers, constructed as described, when used for the purpose specified.
