' My inventlon relates to improvements in. the object of the invention being atomizers, to provide'an atomizer which can be cheaply manufactured, so that it can be sold at an -unusually low price and yet most efliciently perform the functions for which it is intended.
A further object is to provide an atomizer in which the air tube and liquid tube are secured in a sheet metal shell, punched or otherwise shaped, and providing a strong support for the tubes.

With these and other objects in view the lnvention conslsts 1n certaln-novel features of construction and combinations and arrangements of parts as will be more fully reduced stopple 5, although,

In the modification illustrated in Fig. 3, I provide a shell 21 which constitutes a cap fitting over the open end of bottle 23. In this modification, the liquid tube 2 1 extends only through the side of shell 21, but the air tube 25 corresponding to air tube 11,
is secured in precisely the same manner as thepreferred form.
In the modification, I also use solder indicated at 10 to secure the tubes in the shell, and Ihave shown an air bulb 26 directly connected to the air tube.
With both forms of my invention, the shell can be stamped or punched from sheet metal, and the tubes can be rigidly'secured without the necessity of expensive machine work.
' i I have dispensed altogether with the-use of screw-threaded parts, and have provided a most eflicient atomizer which can be manufactured at an extremely low cost.
Various slight changes may be made in the general form and arrangement of parts described without departing from my invention and hence I do not limit myself'to the precise details set forth, but consider myself at liberty to make such changes and alterations as fairly fall within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
Having fully described my invention,
what I'cl'aim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is: 1. An atomizer, comprising a shell, 3. liquid tube projecting through one side wall of the shell, and having its outlet end outside of the shell, an air tube projecting through one wall of the shell, and a nozzle secured to the other wall of the shell and to the air tube and directing the air across the outlet end of theliquid tube.
2. An atomizer comprising a shell, a liquid tube projecting through the shell and secured thereto, an air tube projecting through one wall of the shell, a nozzle projectingthrough the other wall of the shell and secured in the air tube, said nozzle having a restricted orifice adjacent the outlet end of the liquid tube.
3. An atomizer comprising a shell, a liquid tube projecting through one wall of the shell, an air tube projecting transversely of the shell, a nozzle having a tapering end projecting through theshell and into the cated in proximity to the outlet end'of the liquid tube, a cap secured on the open end of the shell-and vent openings in said cap and in the bottom ofthe shell.
5. An atomizer comprising a hollow shell having a reduced lower end, a hollow stopple secured around the reduced end of the shell, liquid and air tubes secured .in T the shell, and projecting through the side wall thereof above the stopple, and a cap secured over the open end of the shell.
