To all whom it may concern:
, Be it known that l, BRAMAH Josnrrr DIP- LOCK, a subject of the King of Great Britain. residing at 3 Wylfold road Munster Road,
5 Fulham, London, England, have invented new and useful Improvements in Vehicles, l of which the following is a specification I have before described a vehicle supported on feet carried by endless chains of foot carriers running on rails fixed to the body of the vehicle, each foot being pivoted to the lower end of a rod which was suspended from the foot carrier and was surrounded by a compressed spring,
The object of the present invention is to provide im roved means for connecting the feet of suc [vehicles to the foot carriers so that any sidewise tilting or twisting dis placement of a foot relatively to its carrier may be resisted and that when a foot which has been so displaced is raised from the ground it will at once resume its proper position relative to its carrier. this invention each foot is suspended from its foot carrier by two or more (preferably four) rods each surrounded by a compressed spring.
