I claim 2'- 1. In a machine for finishing cigarette seams the combination with a support with a recess'thercin, a presser blade, a projection from one end of theblade received in said recess, and a spring secured to said support and t6 said blade.

2. In. a machine for finishing cigarette seams, the combination with the presser blade, a support therefor, a fiat spring secured to said support at one end and to thepresser blade at the other end.
