This invention relates to casings for inenrulescent lamp sockets and pendent switches.

The various objects and iiilvantzigee ol :Ehe invention will appear liereina ter in commetion with the description of a. prett'erred emhodiment of the invention shown in the m:- companying drawing, wherein-- Figure 1 is a side View of a lamp socket easing; Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the casing shell; and Fig. 3 is a section-e1 view on the line 3-3 of Fig. 1.

The casing illustrated comprises a. cap 1 and shell 2 arrmwed to telescope together in a conventional manner. Interlocking means are provided to prevent axial separation and relative rotution of the parts when. joined.
