To all whom it may concern: i

'Be it linen/'n that We, FELIX GODIN and Grosse yloswonrn, citizens of the United States, residing at Central Falls, in the countyV of Providence, Rhode lsland, have invented certain new` and useful improvements in Hosiery-Knitting Machines.' oi which the following is a specification.

Heretofore 'it has been customary in mal;- ing the high splice and the double sole, in

The other section of this divided raising caniis adjustable and Joy `adjnsting it the short bnttvneedles which knit the high splice andthe double sole may to be controlled so that the vlengths of loops drawn by the stitch earn `will be maintained instead of being shortened by action or adjacent needles and 'thus the fabric at these points will be knit oi a predetermined degrec of tightness.
