The lower portion of the main shell, 6 beneath the rails '17 constitutes a water holding chamber 21. The water is supplied to the chamber 21 from a tank 22, whichis disposed exteriorily of the main shell 6 and suitably connected therewith, as shown. Connectedwith thelower end of the tank 22 is an outlet pipe 23," extending into the chamber 21. Within thischamber the out-l let pipe--23 is provided with a valve 2%, opererated by 'apivoted-lever-25, which is moved by a' iioat 26. When the level of the water within the chamber 21 falls below a certain point, the float 26is lowered whereby the valve2 1 is opened to supply the water to the inunication between the upper portion fofthe chamber until the desired level is regained. At its upper end,the tank 22 is provided with an inlet pipe 27, carrying a removable cap 28. A pipe29 serves to establish coinmain shell 6 or the cooking chamber and the upper end of the tank 22, whereby the pressure "above'andbelow the water 'withm the tank 22, is balanced.

It is to beunderstood that the form ofmy invention, herewith shown and described is to be taken as a preferred example ofthe same, and that certain changes in'the shape, slze and arrangement of parts may be resorted to withoutdeparting from the spirit of the invention or the scope of the sub joined claims.
