, The object of the present invention is to form a buckle for. belts the construction whereof is simplified and 'cheapened;

In Fig. 6 of theedrawings there is shown a-sheet metal blank fromwhich. the,body port-ionor faceplate of the buckle is constriated. In Fig. 7 is shown the sheet metal blank from which the clampingmember of the blank. In-the buckle adjacent to the face plate 11 and at either edge thereof are flanges 12, 12.
