Be it known that I, WESTON M. FULTON, a citizen of the United `States 0f America, and resident of Knoxville, Tennessee, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Steam-Boiler Attachments, which invention is fully set forth in the following specification.
in steam boiler attachments, and particularly `to devices of this class which are adapted to indicate and control steam pressure and regulate the air draft in house heating furnaces. y
.It is customary to provide a house heating steam furnace with a steam gage, a damper regulator and some form of safety valve such as a pop-off valve. Each of these devices necessitates tapping sepa-rate openings into the boiler casting. This practice requires three separate handlings of a heavy and bulky casting on the drilling machine as this operation is usually done at the factory. The manipulation of this bulky casting requires the expenditure of labor and time and the casting is unnecessarily weakened at these points unless special provision is made in making the casting to strengthen the areasinto which the holes are drilled. Furthermore, the chances of leaking at the places where thesev connections are made increases with the number of openings and this is particularly the case if the openings are made at the place whe-re the furnace is installed since the facilities of the factory are absent at such times.
1t is the object of this invention to overcome the above objections as far as practicable by providing a unitary structure which is adapted to carry a plurality of fluid pressure devices and requires but one tapping of the boiler for making the conncction therewith.
A further. object is lto improve the means of attac-hing a vibratory vessel to its base after the vessel has received its end closures, and by clamping means inside the vessel, such means being particularly useful in connection with my unitary support.

42 and 43 are branch passages in the base which connect the steam gage 46 and popof valve 48 with the central'space in the casting.
The valve and gage may be secured in position in any suitable manner. As illustrated, the gage is provided with a nut 47 which receives a nipple 45 adapted to be screwed into thethreaded opening at the end of the branch passage 43. The top of the casting 40 is. formed with a seat for receiving a vibratorv vessel 41, and is provided with a threaded opening, with which registers an opening in the lower end wall of the vessel 41 for receiving a flanged 4clamping nut 54 having an interior lug 55. This nut is placed inside the vessel before the latter finally receives its second endclosure, and is screwed into the threaded opening in the base 40 by aid of a spud or wrench inserted through the opening in the fitting 44 and engaging lug 55. The ange of the nut thus clamps the end wall steamtight against the base 40. The base 40` also supports a bracket arm 49 held in place by a long bolt 51 'and nut 52. This bracket 49 carries a rocker 50' operated by a power member 53 secured to the movable end wall of the vibratory vessel 41. A damper lever 22 is secured to the rocker and has connections with a furnace damper, notl shown.
The operation of the device will be readily understood from the drawing and description and needs no further explanation.

What is claimed is 1. In av steam boiler attachment, the combination of a rigid support having a' steam supply inlet, a vibratory vessel having non,- exible end walls, one of said walls being in open communication withthe steam supply inlet and being secured thereto by means of a flanged bushing having the flange on the interior of the vibratory vessel and being provided with means whereby said bushing may be secured to place by the application of power exterior to the vessel.
2. In a steaml boiler attachment, the com-4 bination' of a corrugated collapsible and expansible vessel, one end of which is movable and is provided wlth an inelastic end closure, the opposite end of said vessel be-` porting a plurality of fluid pressure devices and connecting the same .with the `steamspace ofthe boiler through a single tapping of the boiler Wall, a hollow casting having a threaded connection for attachment with the boiler, a seat for receiving a vibratory vessel, a vessel on said seat and in open communication with the space in the casting, and one or more connections for receiving fluid pressure devices also in open communication Wlth said space.
