Be it known that I,'W'1LLIAM H; CAnwnLL, a citizen of the United States, residing at New Britain,'in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented certain .new and useful Improvements in Combined Bottle-Caps and Extractors, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a combined bottle cap and extractor, among the principal objects of the invention bein the provision and extractor involving the'invention. Fig.

To remove the paper cap the cap 3 is held at a slant thereto and the prong or barb dis-pushed through the paper cap or between the edge of the cap and the bottle rimat which polnt it becomes a simple matter to pry the paper cap from place when if it has been pierced by the barb or prong 6:, it can be pulled or shaken therefrom, and'the cap 3 can then be applied. What I claim is: A bottle: cap comprisin a substantially flat-circularbodya and a circular flange depending from sea body, said flange having at its lower edge a barb extending outwardly at approximately aright angle to the axis of said body and also having several resilient clip members. I
