Be it known that l, JOHN S. ROBERTSON, ot' Wood End, near Oatbcart, in Scotland, have invented a new -and useful Improvement in Horseshocs; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof', which will enable 'others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference Abeing had to the accompanying drawing forming part.

The object of this invention is to provide an appliance by means Of which horses may in a few minutes be fitted for encountering icc and snow, and by means of which the foot will be protected; and
