To all whom it may concern.

Be it known that I, llnnaioul l. Roninns. a citizen of the United States, residing at Millgrove, in the county of Blachford and State of Indiana, have invented a new am. useful Automatic Registering-Faucet of which the following is a specification.

The present invention relates to improvements in automatic registering faucets, the

'iarticnlar faucet being especially adapted for use in connection with tank wagons from which oil or other fluids are rctailed, one object. of the present invention being the provision ot means upon which the bail or handle ot the receptacle is hang and which according; to the amount of liquid to be dispensed, 'ill be actuated at the proper time to register, there being prm'ided an auxiliary alarm means to give an audible alarm so thatthe party dispensing will know exactly when the desired amount is vithin the. receptacle.

It iurt her object of the present invention is the provision ot a registering attachment tor tank wagon spouts, in which means for receiving the hail of the dispcnsin can is so constructed and adjustethas to register only when a sull'icient. quantity 01 the tluid is within the can, the registering device actuated by the weight of the can and the predetermined amount; of liquid therein operating in one direction so as not to be returned in a retrogradedirection, the registering dial being disposed within the casing and concealed so as not to be tampered with.

A still further object of the invention is the provision of adjustable means whereby 'arious quantities of liquid may be measured with the same faucet and registering device.

VViththe foregoing and other objects in view which will appear as the description iroceeds the invention resides in the combination and arrtmgcment of: parts and in the details o'l construction hereinafter described and clain'ied, it being understood that changes in the precise embodiment of the in veution herein disclosed can be made within the scop of what is claimed without departing from the spirit of the invention.
