Be it known that I, FREDERICK O. HEUSER, a citizen of the' United States, residing at Chicago, in the count-y vof Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new -and useful Improvement in Actuating Mechanism for Accounting-Registers,vof which the following is a full, clear., concise, and,` exact description, reference being'had to the ac` companying drawings, forming a part of this specification.
My invention relates to an actuating mechanism for account-ing registers, and has particular reference to afpolyphase electromagnetic actuating mechanism.
Hitherto, in actuating registers of a mechanical accounting system, ithas been necessary to provide a separate actuating mech'- anism for each register, notab/lygin the case of a time register and a wage register, adapted toindicate respectively, the time and wages of any individual workman.
