IMPROVEMENT IN THE MANUFCTURE '0F BLACKING.
The Schedule referred to ln these Letters Patent and making paxt of the same Tile figure represents a sectional elevation ul a. roll of water-.proof blackiug, wrapped, according t0 my tin or lead foil.
Thisinveutioirconsists in forming blocking into solid cylindrical or tapering rolls, contained within a. thin ilm of metallic foil, through which the oil und other liquid substances contamed in suoli blackiug cannot permeate, and which prevents it from being dried to au'injurious extent by direct contact with the air.
