By reason of this .construction applicant usesthe elasticity of the narrowing bows, and the greater 6o width of the shank imparts the necessary strength. This is important because the farther away the'tin end of the weft-carrier is from the automatically threading eye of the shuttle, the more certainly will-the thread" be automatically threaded and the thread reels on better from the weft-carrier.
