In use the receptacles are supplied withv suitable volatile medicinal substances, the open work covers put in place, and the receptacles inserted in the pockets with Vtheir open sides facing each other. The inhaler is then held in place on the patients face as shownin Fig. 1, thus practically closing the open side thereof. As heretofore stated, during inhalation, air entering the space between the receptacles, from below, and passing the open sides thereof, absorbs large quantities of thev volatile medicinal substances, which are inhaled by the patient.`
The exhalations -pass down between thereceptacles and while they absorb and carry away some of the vapors, they do not con-V their contents are wholly VinclosedA by thel walls of the pockets and receptacles, respectively, thereby-preventing the escape of any appreciable amount of the volatile substances; There being two receptacles, one
sort of medicinal ingredient may bek put in one receptacle, and' a differentkind may be put in the other receptacle, in case it Should be impractical to intermix the two kinds of ingredients.
More or less varation of the exact `details of construction are possible without departing from the spirit of this invention, and I do not, therefore, desire to limit myself to their exact form except as may be necessitated by the prior state of the art. f
I claim `as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- '1. An inhaler of the class described, comprising a receptacle holder, andra pair of spaced, medicament receiving receptacles carried by said holder and having a nose receivlng space therebetween, each receptacle having an open side facing the other open side, for exposing its contents. y
2. An inhaler of the class described, co1n prisingga receptacle holder, and 'a pair of Vmedicament receiving receptacles, removably secured Ato said holder, and extending in' approximately parallel relation to each other, said receptacles being spaced apart to leave a nose receiving space therebetween, each receptacle having an open side facing the open side of its companion receptacle.

An inhaler of the class described, comprising a'receptacle holder of channel like formation, and a pair of medicament'receiving receptacles secured at the sides of said holder, each receptacle having an open side facing the open side of the other receptacle, the two open sides of said receptacles being spaced apart to leave a nose receiving space therebetween. n v

8. An inhaler of the class described, comprising a pair of pockets having open sides` prising a holder, a pair of medicament receiving receptacles carried by said holder,

An inhaler of the class described, comprising a channel like structure having a longitudinal nose receiving space, open at the front and top and bottom, apair of medicament receiving receptacles forming a part of saidvstructure, each receptacle having an open side facing the open side of thc other receptacle, and means for securing said structure on the face of the patient.
