Be it known that I, HUGH C. Boron, a citizen of the United States, residing at Portland. in the county of Multnomah and State of Oregon, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Clothes-Briers, of which the following is a specification.

This invention pertains to an improvement in clothes driers, and has for its object to provide a rack which is adapted to be set up on the floor about a hot air register, in such manner that articles may be suspended within it to receive the current of air coming from the register.

A further object is to provide such a device in which articles may be arranged in small area and quickly dried, which device is capable of beingfolded into small space for storage.

I accomplish these and other objects by the mechanism illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which- Figure l is a perspective elevation of the device, as in use. Fig. 2 a top view in collapsed position. Fig. 3 is a slight moditication showing a means of attaching the supporting rods to the frame.

Referring to the drawing in dctail, .1 designates the upper bars of a frame made substantially in the form of a cube. In each opposing pair of these notches is placed a rod over which may be suspended any article 9, above the register in the floor. The rods may be disposed very close-together or at any convenient distance apart, and in this manner a great many articles may be supported in an exceedingly small space, and at the same time. be in a measure concealed The rods. when not in use are supported in pocket 8 and keeper 4, upon one of the vertical frames. in Fig. 3 the rudlO is shown mounted in one of the upper frame bars, in an eye 13, and engaged by means of a hook 12 upon a pin ll, in the opposite bar. By this means they are always attached to the frame where they are to he used, and can not become lost.

Having described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-- l. drving rack comprising a quadrilatral frame, having closed sides, with open upper and lower ends, and parallel support-- mgr rods anchored in spaced relation across tho top ot' the frame.
