COOLING ATTACHME F MbTOBiIDRWEN F I To all whom it'mag concern.-
'Be'it known that-L-VVILBUR A. Gnovnn, a citizen of the United States, residing at Long Lake, in the State of Washington, have inve'nted certain new and useful Improvements in Cooling Attachments-for Mo tor-Driven Fans; and I do' hereby declare the following to be a full; clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will means for v supplying moisture v continuously moisture to and receive-moisture from [thefabric,-'su"ch frame to be inverted to reverse thejdirection of flow ofthefluid'.
. further object of the" invention is toprovide in combination with, aimotor driven fan a frame carrying a fabric positioned in front of the fan with reservoirs.-.at-thetopv and bottom of theframe adaptedio supply With these and-other ObJQCtS 1n viewjthe I invention comprises certain novel constructions, combinations 'and' arrangement ,of, parts as fwill-be hereinafter more fully'de scribed and claimed.

The present invention is adapted to be associated' with motor driven fans of; any ordinary or approved build, aeonventional elec tric fan motor being shown iat lO in Fig. 1 j' with the invention attached thereto.
The invention comprises; a frame. 1 1
mounted upon the motor 10 so as to-"be'rotat-ed to reverse by employing any approved means as the movable collar 12. Secured tothe frame 11 at its front is a tank support- Specification of Letterslatent. F b, a lication filed'March.19,' 19 12. seria1-1vofes4,8.91 .'j- 5 s-f which ,'has' an? any approved means forfintroducing thereto as the screw: caps" 16" and "with a pa ;ssage 17 communicgtingfwith the reservdill opposite; such screwn cap; The [passage 17" 1 controlled-by a" valve 18 which hasa sl'otil? proportioned to register with the {17 21 which-carries a trough '22L closed by a foraminousiclosure ,so.-that fiu'i'ddischarged from the receptacle {14: through the passage L17- when 'ther eptacle in the p05 sition shown-in :Figiis' discharged imme diately'upon the foraminous closure 23 and from there passes to and-upon the fabric 13 and flows 'acrossthe opening'covered by such "fabricin. -lower receptacle 1 15' has its.
"trough 20 in "a position inverted from that .shown .at 'FigQB so that the fluid flowing across the fabric is caught by the trough 22 i andguidedthereb. through' the passage 17 into the lower receptacle 15.
.l/Vhen' the fluid has all flowed from the I upper receptacle across to thelower receptaclethe frame is'inverted by simply rotating upon-the means attaching to the motor, as for inst'anceithe' collar 12, which reverses the flow of the fluid so that thereceptacle previously located at the bottom' now becomes the top reservoir and the fluid fl therefrom again across'the'screen or fabric" 13 to the lower'reservoir. It will thus be seenthat the fluid is used continuously until evaporated simply reversing .theframe as often as may be'necessary and that when the fluid has been evaporated 'it is replen- I ished by refilling one or both. of the [reservoirs by removing-.the 'serew' cap 16; Y
