'lhe hopper' is providedwithv two .sets of supports, each set vbeing formed of two legs crossing each other, and pivpted `together attheirpoints of intersection The legsofthe set B are `bent over at their upper ends, and the beutLportions areadaptedto enter or slide into loopsv or hopper, as shown in `figs; 1.1 and 2:. ends, and the shorter portions, E, shown in fig. 4, are adapted to enter straps or loops O, affixed to that side of the hopper opposite to the loops of thelegs B.

By means of the hinges the set of legs l) moved vnearer to or farther from a vertical line for raising or 'lowering the hopper to accommodate bags of different lengths.
