This invention relates kto oil burners, and more particularly to an Aimproved form-of connection whereby -such burners may` receive liquid fuel from their supply pipes and which will. enable such .burnersf'to be conveniently applied to andreinoved from their `supply pipes while providing a particularly efficient and leak-proof connection' between the burners and the pipes.

l As reviou'sly stated, the washer 29 is ofl material which will be compressed by tightening the bolt 38. The inaterial which` I prefer to .employ for this purpose is lead.
