It may be stated prelinnnarily that in the preferred construction of my invention there are employed a main frame in which are journaled Wheels upon which is mounted a iexible coin-carrier, said frame being equipped 4With carrier-guides adapted to so direct-the*movement of the carrier as to contract the coin-pockets thereof aty the place where thecoins are deposited on the carrier and to expand the coin-pockets as they approach the register-actuating mechanism; gear mechanism through the. medium of which thecarrier is operated; a tiltably mounted 'motor and brake, said motor equipped *with* a friction-Wheel, and said frictionwheel and v'brake being so related to a friction-Wheel 'connected with' the gear mechanism that Iwhen the motor is tilted in Specicatonof letters Patent.
