Punching 'mechanisme-The grouping ot the punches for perforating the tape 'is shown in Fig. 17, the upper row being the marking hole punches, the lower rou' the spacing hole punches, while the intermediate punches are for the feed holes, there being nine marking hole punches, ten spacing hole 5 punches and eleven feed hole punches. Fig. i7 is the chart of the group of punches for the international Morse double current sys-- tem. The American Morse code requires fewer punches than illustrated in Fig. 17, and the international cable code requires still fewer punches. It will be understood that my invention can be carried out vvithy either grouping of punches, the operating mecha nism being the 'same in each case, and my in- ..6 vention, therefore, is not limited to anyv particular code or grouping of punches, but
