My improved tablet is very simple and economical in structure, and is, at the same time, very convenient to use. and it may be formed ot' very light material. which is an advantage where it is mounted upon a support, such as a telephone.
Having thus described my invention,
what I claimas new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
1. In a continuous tablet, the combination of a sheet metal bed; a U-shaped wire rolly holder arranged on th under side of the bed with its arms parallel with the sides and its loop end adjacent to one end of the bed, the ends og the arms projecting at the other end of the bed and being bent downwardly and terminating in inwardly-projecting pintles, the side edges of the bed being beaded over the arms of said holder; a supporting bar arranged transversely under said bed and secured thereto by rlvets ar ranged through the holder engaging beads of said bed, said rivets being provided with spacing members; a clamping bar arranged transversely of said bed and having a down- Wardly-projeetiug ear at each end; and a l-shaped tension spring arranged between said supporting bar and said bed with the ends of its arms pivotally engaging said ears on said clamping bar, its loop end being adapted to engage a roll carried by said holder, the arms of said spring being offset to engage said spacing members on said supportingr bar securing rivets.
2. In a continuous tablet, 4the combination of a sheet metal bed; a U-shaped wire roll holder arranged on the under side ol the bed with its arms parallel with the sides and its loop end adjacent to one end of the bed, the ends of the arms projecting at the other end of the bed and being bent d'owii4 wardly and terminating in inwardly-pro,- jecting pintles, the side edges of the bed being beaded over'the arms of said holder; a
supporting bar arranged transversely under said bed and secured in a suaced relation tion of a sheet metal bed; a U-shaped wirel thereto; a clamping bar arranged transversely of said bed and having a down- `wardly-projeoting ear at each end; and
a U-shaped tension spring arranged between said supporting bar and said bed with the ends of its arms pivotally engaging said cars on said clamping bar, its loop end being adapted to engage a roll carried by said holder.
3. In a continuous tablet, the combinaroll holder arranged on the under side of the bed, the side edges of the hed being beaded over the arms of the holder, the ends of the arms being bent transversely and terminating in inwardlyprojecting pintles; a supporting bar arranged transversely under said bed' a clampinO oar arranged"I trans- 7 l: ID
4. In a continuous tablet, the. combination of a bed; a roll holder; a supporting bar arranged transversely under said bed and secured thereto by rlvets; a clamping bar ar ranged transversely of said bed and having a downwardly/:projecting ear at each end;
and a U-shaped tension spring arranged between said supporting bar and said bed with the ends of its arms pivotally engaging said ears on said clamping bar, its loop end' being adapted to engage a roll carried by said holder, thev arms ot said spring being arranged to engage said supporting bar securing rivets.
5. 1n a continuous tablet, the combination of a sheet metal bed; a U-shaped wire roll holder arranged on the under side of said bed with its arms parallel with the sides, and its loop end adjacent to one end of the bed, the end of the arms projecting at the other end of the bed and .being bent downwardly and terminating in inwardlyeprojecting pintles, the side edges of the bed being beaded over the arms of said roll holder whereby the bed is reinforced by said holder and said holder is attached to the bed; and a supporting bar arranged transversely under said bed and secured thereto by rivets arranged through the holder engaging beads.
6. In a continuous tablet, the combination of a sheet metal bed; and a U-shaped wire roll holder arranged on the under side of said bed with its arms parallel with the sides, the ends of the arms projecting at the other end of the bed and being bent downwardly and terminating in inwardly projecting pintles, the side edges of the bed being'beaded over the arms of said roll holder whereby the bed is reinforced by said holder and said holder is attached to the bed.
7. In a continuous tablet, the combination of a bed; a roll holder; a clamping bar arranged upon and transversely of said bed and having downwardly projecting ears at each end embracing the edgesof the bed, said clamping bar being formed of sheet metal and having its longitudinal edges vfolded inwardly to provide a card holder;
