T 0 all whom it may concern -Be it known that 1, CHARLES BENJA IN Rnnnur, a subject of the King of England, residing at Cardifi, county of Glamorgan, \Vales, England, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Radial Pitmen for Multiple-Cylinder Engines, of which the following is a specification.
This invention is for improvements in or relating to multiple cylinder enginesand has particular reference to the type of en-' gine in which a series of cylinders are d15- posed radially around the crank-shaft, the piston or connectingro'ds of several cylinders being engaged with the same. crankin. p According to the present invention there is employed with two or more piston or' connecting-rods and a crank-pin common to all the rods a hinged strap that extends around the whole or part of the crank-pin and locks lateral tongues on one or more of the rods between it and the crankpin;
With the hinged strap a master rod may be employed whose end encircles the crankpin and lies'between it and the ends of the rods held in place by the hinged strap.
