The invention relates to water tanks, and
more'particularly to the class of drinking fountains. The primary object of the invention is the provision of an apparatus of this character` which is reliable and etlicient in use,rof coinp'aratfively simple and inexpensivefconstruction,. and so designed that a substantially the Vnozzle or drinking cup thereof, so that the device is especially useful in such places as public buildingsj-in small towns, passen-` ger coaches, parks, andthe like, where drinking cups-aredispensed with.
` Another object of the qinvention is'the provision of an apparatus of this character in which the tank' thereof is of novel character, having a. feeding chamber, wherein a uniform level of water is attained, so that water will feed to the nozzle at-a constant hea'd, theparts of the apparatus beingl Vreadily removable, thereby enabling cleaning, repairing, renewal of the parts, and in spection thereof, thus assuring sanitary conditions at all times.
A still further object of the invention is the provision of an apparatus in which the water delivery current is automaticallyl controlled, thus assuring a uniform level of" water and a uniform pressure of the same in the nozzle accessible tothe public.
With these and other objects in view, t-he invention consists in the construction, com
bination and arrangement lof parts, aswill be hereinafter more fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawings, and pointed out in the claims hereunto appended.
