-The coil 23 is covered with suitable insulating material and 'then Wound with a heating coil 32 included in series with the heating coils 17. Tlieheat-ing coil is covered by a suitable insulating cement 32a.

From the boiler' chamber 6, the Water will low.
4 5 through a pipe 28 (having a valve 29) to the hollow-base vhead 415 and from lthe latter, upwardly through the tubes 16 to the dome 12=and from said dome, through the pipe 28 to a point .of consumption or utilization, a portion 'of the' heated Water tlowing from the dome through the auxiliary heating pipes 30-31 as before explained. 4During the operation of the heater, the Water llowing through the coil -23 will absorb heat from the heating chamber 22 and from the internal coil 31 so that when this Waiter .reaches the submerged coill 26, it will have a temperature approximating to' that in the submerged coil. After the Water has passed` .60 through the coils 'andl entered the boiler` chamber, it will flow fromthe latter to the head 1 5 and from said head throughvthe heating tubes 16 tothe dome 12. Itvwill be observed that the .area ottheservice-pipe 28l (and the auxiliary heat-ing. pipe heating coils,

The iiowthroughthe heating tubes will ltherefore be retarded and the rapidity ot the circulation of the Water lcorrespondingly inso creased' and the maintenance of lthe temperature of the Water'at .a high"'degre e will be enhanced.'
When the system is once heated, it requires very little heating energy to maintain a necessary and steady temperature and therefore the heating element and energy necessary to operate it can be reduced to a minimum. The apparatus is economical in operation as allof'the heat. created by the 80 the water and the metal is preserved and utilized and hence the operation can be 'maintained-at very lou7 consumption of electric energy. y

Having fully described my invention what I claim as ne'W and desire io secure by Letl ters Patent, is
1. In a Water heater, the combination with anannula-r boiler, a dome at one endot the boiler and a-holloW `head alt the other end, of a tube connecting lsaid hollow head-With ,the dome, means for passing Water around f the boiler and subsequently to theboiler, 'm'eans for conductingwater from-the-boller v130 .the dome, an electrical heating coil encircling said tube, means for conducting water around the i boiler and then to the boiler, means for conducting water from the boiler to the base head, and a service pipe connected with ythe dome.

In a water heater, the combination with an annular boiler, a v dome at one end thereof, and aI hollow head at the other end ot said boiler, of a plurality oty tubes surroundedA .by the annular boiler and connecting the 'base head with the dome, electrical heating coils encircling said tubes, 'means for circulating water around the boiler and then conducting water' to the boiler., 'means for conducting water from .the boiler to the'base head, and a ser'vice pipe connected with the dome. 4. In a water heater, the combination with an annular boiler 'and chambered members at respective ends thereof, of a water heating tube connecting said chambered members, a coil located within the annular boiler, means for conducting water through said coil and to the annular boiler lso as to submerge said coil, `means for conducting water from the boiler to one of said chamber-eidl members, and a service pipe communicating with the other chambered member.
5. In a water heater, the combi-nation with an annular boiler, water heating tubes surrounded by said' boiler and chambered members connecting the endsof said tubes, ot a casing cooperating with theboiler to forml aheating chamber, a coil surroundingthe boiler and located in said heating chamber, a
coil located Within the boiler, means for supplying water to thev first mentioned coil. a pipe connecting .the upper end of said, first mentioned coil with the lower en d .of the coil within the b oiler,apipe connectingthe upper end of the last mentioned coil with the lowerend ofthe boiler, a connection between the lower end of the boiler and one of said chambered members, and a service pipe communicating with the v'othei` chambered member.

In a water heater, the combina tion with concentric shells forming a-water chamberbetween them, and 'a dome, of water tubes Within the inner Vshell and communicating with the dome, means connecting said tubes with the wateichaniber between the shells, means for heating said tubes, a coiled pipe surrounding the outer shell, a connection be.
tween said coil'anil the water chamber between the shells. and anvaiixiliary heatingl pipe wit-hin said coiled pipe, said auxiliary heating pipe communicatingat one end with the dome and open at theother end within the connection between said coiled pipe vandthe watei'- chamber. v c
7. In a water heater, the combination with a boiler, heating means, a dome. provided with an outlet, and vmeans :tor conducting water from the boiler to the dome, of a coiled pipe surrounding the boiler, a connection between one end of said coiled pipe and the boiler, and an auxiliary heating pipe within the coiled pipe, said auxiliary heating pipe communicating at one endwith the dome and open at its other end within .the connection between said coiled pipe'andthe boiler.'
8. In a water heater, the combination with a boiler, a dome provided with a. water outlet, means-for conducting water from the boiler to the dome, and heating means, of a coiled inlet pipe surrounding 'the boiler, a coiled pipe located within the boiler and communicating with :the latter, a pipccon- -I necticfn between'said coiled pipes,- andan auxiliary heat-ing pipe located within 'theouterv inletcoiled pipe, .one end 4of said auxiliary heating coil communicating with the dome andthe other end open within the.

9. In a water heater, the combination'w'ith a boiler.y a doine provided with an outlet, and
means lor conduct-ing water from the boiler tothe dome, of a-coiled inlet ing-the boiler, means connecting saidv coiled pipe with the boiler, and an electrical'heatling coil surrounding the coiled pipe.
10. In a water heater, the combination with 4 an annular boiler, and a dome provided with .an outlet,l of tubes within the 'chamber formedty the annular boiler and communicating with the dome, means connecting said tubes with the boiler,`electrical heating coils for said tubes, a coiled inletpipe sur rounding the boiler,'mea' ns` connecting said coiled pipe Wit-h the boiler, and an electrical heating coil on said coiled pipe.
