To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, GEORGE M. LINDSEY and WVILLIAM A. LINDSEY, both citizens of the United States, residing at Los Angeles, in the county of Los Angeles and State of California, have invented a new and useful specification.
This invention relates to means for preventing watches from being dislodged .or stolen from the pocket, and the main object of the invention is to provide a simple and effective device for this purpose which will be of minimum cost and easily applied.

The guard comprises an elastic member of soft rubber having a central perforation adapted to fit over the stem vof a watch. Said member is formed as a disk having a central projecting hub 1 provided with a bore or central opening 2, a peripheral enlarged portion or rim 3 and a relatively thin web portion l connecting said hub and rim, said hub l'projecting on both sides of the web flush with the enlarged rim portion 4 five cents each, by addressing the to provide spacin collars and said web portion 4 being su ciently thin to give considerable elasticity and the rim portion 3 giving a relatively stifi periphery for engagement with the sides of the pocket.
The guard is attached to the watch by slipping it over the ring 7 and stem 8 of the watch, the hub l expanding or stretching in this operation and then contracting to bind or grip the stem 8 firmly, said hub portion engaging between the body 5 of the watch and the collar 6 which supports the ring 7 of the watch.

A watch guard comprising an elastic disk of soft rubber formed with an enlarged rim, a hub having a stem opening and projecting on both sides of the disk so as to provide inner and outer spacing collars adapted to Commissioner of Patents,
