of Fletcher, in the county of, Comanche and State "ofOklahoma, have invented an Im proved Reinforced-Concrete Railway-Tie, of which the following is a specification.
My invention is a compositerailway. tie
formed of cement or'concret'e and ,a reinforce consistingof a skeleton metal frame. The latter is of peculiar construction, it
are so constructed and. "connected that .the
frame combines maximum strength, rigid'-' ity, and lightness.

The improved reinforce for cement ties, consisting of a skeleton frame formed of top and bottom plates and an interposed plate serving as a truss and brace, the central portion of-the latter being arched and riveted to the top plate and its end portions depressedand riveted to the bottom plate, its terminalsbeing secured between the ends of the top plate and the bottom plate, as shown and described.-
