To all whom 'it may concern Be itv known that I, ELIZABETH ,SPRAGUL of Minneapolis, Hennepin` county, Minnesota, have lnvented certain new and usefull Improvements in Catamenial Napkins, of
which the following is aspecication.
The object of thein-vention is to provideuse, Fig. 3 is a vplan view of the napkin showing -a portion of the ,center eoverlng and intermediate layer broken away.

Another extension projects from the rear-end of the main part of fthe napkin and is preferably of somewhat greater length than the extension 5. An

I claim as my invention:
TheV catamenial napkin herein described, consisting of a central imper'vious fabric a vlayer of absorbent material on each'slde thereof, said absorbent material extending beyond the edges of said impervious fabric. and connected thereto by quilting togetherf the layers of absorbent material and imperviousy fabric, an outer fabric covering se:
cured onlyfto the absorbent ymaterial and surroundingthe same, said outer fabric bef ing provided vwith a narrow forward extension and a narrow rearward extension and means connected to said extensions for. sup-i porting th napkin.
