State of Indiana, have invented a new and useful Attachment for Wagon-Bodies, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to attachments for Wagon bodies, one of its objects being to provide a box, crate or the like having novel means for connecting it to the bottom of.

It is to be understood of.course 'that the body 1 can be used for various purposes, such as carrying tools, poultry, etc., andit is to be understood that the said body can be constructed in any manner desired.

What is claimed is g 1. An attachment for vehicle bodies including a receptacle, hangers pivotally con nected thereto and extending close to the sides thereof, one hanger on each side being longer than the other hanger, means for pivotally connecting the hangers to a vehicle body, and means on the receptacle for engaging a portion of the body and spacing the receptacle therefrom.

2. An attachment for vehicle bodies, including a receptacle, hangers of different lengths at each side thereof, said hangers being mounted for swinging movement relative to the receptacle, means for pivotally connecting the hangers to a vehicle body, and means on the receptacle and movable relative thereto for engaging a portion of a vehicle body to hold the receptacle in a predetermined position.

The combination with a vehicle body having a cross strip adjacent the rear end thereof, of a receptacle under the body, hangers at the sides of the receptacle, the hangers at each side being of 'difierent lengths, each hanger being mounted to swing relative to the receptacle supported thereby, means for pivotally connecting the hangers to the vehicle body and the'cross strip, and means upon the receptacle and shiftable into i 4 engagement'with the cross strip to hold the receptacle with its top in contact with the bottom of the vehicle body.

The combination with a vehicle body having a cross strip, of a receptacle, hangers for movably supporting'the receptacle, said hangers constituting means for holding the receptacle in an inclined position underand beyond the cross strip, said receptacle being movable upwardly into contact with the bottom of the body, and means upon the re ceptacle for engaging the cross strip to hold the receptacle in raised position.

5. The combination with a vehicle body I having a cross strip,

6. The combination with a vehicle body having a cross strip, of hangers pivotally connected to the body and cross strip, the hangers on the cross strip being longer than a receptacle movably supported by the hangers and adapted to swing to an inclined position under and beyond the cross strip, upwardly into contact with the bottom of the body, spacing devices movably connected ,to the receptacle, and means for shifting said devices into engagement'with the cross strip to hold the receptacle in elevated position.
