A device of the character described, comprising a clockwork, a cartridge drum, a cartridge drum feed lever and Patented Jan. 9, 1912. Serial No. 636,947.

Be it known that I, Gnonc SrocKnR, a subject of the German Emperor, residing at anau-on-the-Main, Germany, have invented a new and Improved Automatic Cartridge-Exploding Device, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to an automatic cartridge exploding device, which is adapted to automatically explode a number of cartridges after the lapse of a predetermined time.
The invention is well adapted to be applied for signaling purposes, for scaring birds, for firing consecutive shots and for similar purposes.

Upon the arbor M of a suitable clockwork is mounted a wheel 6 having a number of spaced teeth. These teeth are adapted to arm of a two arm lever adapted to simultaneously engage the feed lever and exploding lever, and clockactuated means for tilting said locking lever out of said engagement.
