To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK P. MARTIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Williamsburg, in the county of Franklin and State of Kansas, have invented a new and .useful Pipe-Mold, of which the following is a specification.
The device forming the subject matter ofthe details of construction hereinafter described and claimed, it being understood that changes in the precise embodiment of invention herein disclosed can be made within the scope of what is claimed without departing from the spirit of the invention.
In the drawings Figure l is an end elevation; and Fig. 2 is a transverse section on the line A-B of Fig. 1.
In carrying out the invention there is provided as a primary and fundamental element, a tubular member, fashioned from a single plate of resilient material, its longitudinal edges 2 and 8 being overlapped upon each other, slidably, as appearing in Fig. 1. An arched bracket 4 is provided, the same having laterally extending feet 5, one of which feet bears removably against the edge 2 of the tubular member, the other of said feet 5 bearing removably against the edge 3 of the tubular member. In its intermediate portion, the arched bracket 4 is thickened, as shown at 6, by securing a nut thereto or in any other manner. There are two of these brackets 4, the same being located at the ends of the tubular member 1, as seen most clearly in Fig. 2.
The invention further includes a pair of primary braces 7, each of which is provided at one end with an enlarged head 8, adapted to bear against the inner surface of the tubular member 1. The primary braces 7 extend diametrically across the tubular member 1, and are threaded, as shown at 9, to engage with the thickened intermediate portions 6 of the arched brackets 4.
The invention further includes a pair of secondary braces 10, located between the primary braces 7. The secondary braces 10 are equipped, each, at one end, with an enlarged head 11, located within an arched bracket 12, the secondary braces '10 being journaled for rotation in these brackets. The brackets 12 are equipped with laterally extended feet 14, secured to the inner surface of the tubular member 1. The secondary braces 10 are threaded, as shown at 15, to engage with thethickened portions 16 of arched brackets 17, provided with laterally extended feet 18, disposed longitudinally of the tubular member 1, and secured thereto. In the braces 7 and 10, there are openings 19, adapted to receive rods or the like, whereby the braces may be rotated; although any other means for rotating the braces may be substituted.
\Vhen the secondary braces 10 are rotated, their threaded portions 15, engaging with the thickened portions 16 of the brackets 17, will effect an expansion and contraction of the tubular member 1, the heads 11 serving to register within the brackets 12, against withdrawal, when the device is contracted, the heads 11 engaging against the tubular member 1, to expand the same.
Obviously, by rotating the primary braces 7, the member 1 may be adjusted in a direction at right angles to the secondary braces 10. Owing to the fact that the laterally extended feet 5 of the brackets 4 bear against the edges 2 and 3 of the tubular member 1, the member 1 may readily be expanded, without causing a binding between the tubular member and the feet 5 of the bracket 4.
The primary braces 7 and their accessory parts are readily removable, so that access may be had to the interior of the tubular member, for the purpose of adjusting the secondary braces 10 which, preferably, are secured against removal, within the tubular member.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed is A device of the class describedcomprising a yieldable, tubular member having its longitudinal edges overlapped; rectangularly disposed primary and secondary braces located within the tubular member, the primary braces being at the ends of the tubular member, and the secondary braces being located between the primary braces, each, of

the braces having an enlarged head at one end, the enlarged heads of the primary braces bearing removably against the tubular member; arched brackets secured to the tubular member, within which brackets the heads of the secondary braces are journaled for rotation; other arched brackets, having centrally thickened portions into which the ends of the braces are threaded; the last named arched brackets which are assembled with the primary braces, having laterally extended feet, engaging removably with the overlapped edges of the tubular member, the last named arched brackets which are assembled with the secondary braces having laterally disposed feet, ex tended longitudinally of the tubular member and secured thereto. 7
