The invention relates to the methods of producing the granules of ammonium saltpeter. A method includes granulation of the hot melt of ammonium saltpeter in rotary granulator by supplying the melt to the surface of cooled solids with formation during its rotation of finished product and its subsequent unloading at a temperature that is for 4-25°C lower than its melting point. Before granulation the flow of hot melt of ammonium saltpeter is divided into two independent flows, in one of which the concentration of ammonium saltpeter is brought to 0.2-0.5% of H2O, and in other - to 1-5% of H2O, after which the first flow is supplied to the surface of cooled solids and at reaching by particles of the solids of the temperature higher than 115-135°C their processing by second flow is performed.
