Abstract

Invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular - to the method of obtaining the articles of titanium alloys and it can be used in automobile, natural gas, chemical machine building and other branches of industry. The method of obtaining the articles made of titanium alloys includes mixing of basic powder containing titanium, with powders of alloying elements, which form alloys with titanium, article extrusion and solid-phase sintering in the vacuum. As the base containing titanium the powder of titanium hydride with size of particles < of 100 mm is used, which is mixed with powders of alloying elements with the size of particles not more than 1/3 - 2/3 of sizes of particles of the base, and pressed at a pressure of 400-1000 MPa, moreover at heating in the range of temperatures of 400-900 °C is controlled the hydrogen separated in the vacuum chamber up to the pressure of 104 Pa, then the heating of articles is continued to the sintering temperature with simultaneous pressure drop in the chamber up to 10-2 Pa. Method can be carried out with heating to sintering temperature at a rate of 10-15 °C/min. Invention provides obtaining of titanium alloys with high combination of mechanical properties.
